Q. Why do I register with Amazon?

The application form with Amazon is a required part of the application process; it also helps us to process your application in a timely manner. Once your application is reviewed, you will be able to come to a Welcome Event.

 

Q. How long before I can start?

Once you have attended your Welcome Event we hope to have you booked on to a shift as soon as there is one available, hopefully within a week or 2.

 

Q. Do you employ students?

Yes we do. If you are a student, please speak to the Adecco team on 0333 043 3871 and they will be able to discuss this with you.

Q. I've lost my passport/birth certificate. What other ID do you accept?

Your birth certificate or passport (photo page and visa stamp, if applicable) are the most common forms of ID.  If you don't have these, please contact us at 0333 043 3871. We will be able to talk to you about alternative documentation.

Welcome event

Welcome event

There are frequent events scheduled at our branch locations. See our branch locations to find the one nearest you.

Q. What can I expect at the welcome event?

The event is our chance to meet in person, and for you to learn more about working at Amazon. The goal? To make sure you are ready to start work!

We'll ask you to arrive 15 minutes before your booked time. On arrival, you’ll be greeted by an Adecco consultant to guide you through the event.

The agenda?

  1. Brief overview of Adecco for Amazon
  2. Evaluation - on a kindle in your native language.
  3. Sign and check documents
  4. Your interview
  5. Your photo taken for ID badges.
  6. Drug & Alcohol test, when your shift is confirmed.

 

Q. What Right to Work documentation do I need to bring to my welcome event?

You need to bring your passport, birth certificate and proof of NI, or identity card. If you are unsure what documentation you need to bring please contact us on 0333 043 3871 and we will be able to talk to you about what documentation we need to see at the welcome event

Q. What shift patterns are available?

There are day and night shifts available, that cover all 7 days of the week working 4 days/nights on and 3 off.

 

Q.  Is transport provided?

Q. How long is the contract for?

Your Amazon Assignment with Adecco will be for a maximum of 9 months.
